The school and Havering Council have put together a few resources and links to interesting websites that you may find interesting whilst studying at home. We have tried to split these into age appropriate groups, but please be aware that not all options have been fully checked for suitability.

All Year Groups
Art & Culture
- Google Arts & Culture - Content from more than 1200 museums and archives, including 500 virtual tours of galleries & exhibitions. Highlights include the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, the Uffizi Gallery in Florence and the Frida Kahlo Museum in Mexico.
- MOMA (The New York Museum of Modern Art) - #MuseumFromHome. Offering free online courses, education, and art-making activities for families at home.
- Royal Shakespeare Company - Performances of Shakespeare's plays are also going to be broadcast online for free.
- The National Gallery - Artwork available to view online, as well as competitions and virtual tours.
Podcasts & Meditation
- Audible - The popular podcasts platform, which features podcasts on all subjects aimed at all ages, is free during the Coronavirus period.
- Headspace - Headspace, which normally requires a subscription, has released free content to help with understandable stress and anxiety.
Languages
- Rosetta Stone - Rosetta Stone are offering free 3-month language courses for students, including French, German and Spanish.
- British Sign Language Course - You can learn British Sing Language and receive a certificate for £3.
Online Lectures
- TED - Thousands of free lectures accessible to broad audiences in all subject areas.
- Apple Podcasts (iTunes U) - Features thousands of free online courses from Universities including Oxford, Harvard and MIT in all subject areas. Courses can also be found on Google by searching for a university or course name and adding 'iTunes U' to the end of your search term.
Key Stage 3
- Speakers for Schools Live Talks - Weekly virtual talks on a range of topics that can be watched live.
- Oak National Academy - The Academy offers 180 video lessons each week for Years 0-10 that are free to use by both students and teachers.
- BBC Bitesize - The BBC's online education package that features celebrities and teachers helping students learn within each of their subject areas.
- The Great French Language Challenge - A fun challenge for all students currently studying French.
