All students in Key Stage 3 participate in 2 hours of Physical Education per week. The programme of study consists of; rugby, swimming, basketball, indoor athletics, badminton, cross country, volleyball, athletics, cricket, softball, water-polo and personal survival.  All students take part in a series of inter-house competitions in a variety of sports across the year.

Upon arrival in Year 7, students will undergo a month of basic baseline testing to help to ascertain existing acquired skill levels. From this point onwards and throughout Years 7-9 pupils are split into equal size groups for PE. These groups are streamed to allow pupils of similar abilities to learn together at an appropriate pace and to maximise progress across the key stage.
