Year 7 & 8 students participate in the Royal Society's Young People's Book Award

Ten students from Years 7 and 8 recently participated in the Royal Society's Young People's Book Award. The Royal Society is the world's oldest independent scientific academy and is dedicated to promoting excellence in science. The Young People's Book Prize Award is designed to encourage literacy as well as encourage students under the age of 14 to read about science. There were six books that our students had to read and submit reviews on. Our winner was ‘Cats React to Science Facts’ by Izzi Howell. The overall winner will be announced by The Royal Society on Friday 12th March. Well done to the following students who took part in this amazing award:
