All students are encouraged to engage in 'super-curricular' activities across diverse subjects. Super-curricular activities involve deeper exploration and study related to a specific academic field. This may include additional podcasts, lectures, or broader academic reading.
Students are supported and encouraged to cultivate independent learning skills by actively pursuing these super-curricular recommendations. Students should anticipate being challenged in the classroom and provided with opportunities to further their learning through school-organized speakers, activities, and trips.
Some students are identified as High Attainers (HA) based on reviews of assessments and exam results, including SATs, alongside recommendations from their teachers. Those identified as HA will differ by subject and is a group which any student can enter based on their attainment in any subject. This is not necessarily based solely on academic performance.
