Quiz Night in aid of Senior Citizen's Christmas Party

On Friday the 22nd of November, we held our annual Quiz Night; an event ran by Year 12 to help raise money for the annual Senior Citizen's Christmas Party.

Students, teachers, and families were welcomed to Quiz Night, by the Year 12s running the evening, who constructed 8 rounds of challenging questions, with varying topics, from a song round to a geography round, and even some mini-games during the interval, which ensured a delightful atmosphere, as the community came together to help support such a good cause.

As prizes were won throughout the night, a great sense of competition and excitement filled the hall. And by the end of the evening, a grand total of £926 was raised, a fantastic contribution that would not have been made possible without the amazing work done by Archie and Harrison, who organised much of the night, Sean and Lara Jane, the jubilant quiz masters, and especially not without the generous donations from everyone who took part.

We would like to express our appreciation to all those who participated in the Quiz Night, through planning, volunteering to run it, or participating and donating. Your support means that as a community we can continue to provide a wonderful opportunity, for those who may not have the option to spend the Christmas season with their own family and friends, to have a fun-filled and festive evening.
